@FrancescaN:  Depending on your budget…

  1. Hire a professional decorator.
  2. Purchase a pre-made ceiling drape kit (http://www.eventdecordirect.com/catalog/ceiling-dcor/ceiling-draping-kits-c-25_252.html?gclid=CIzR3uG3iLcCFSdgMgodvV0AuQ)  , add lots of string lights, and buy plenty of extension cords.
  3. Buy several bolts of tulle, ceiling clips/hooks (http://www.ontheflysupply.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=STK33032&Click=2527 ) , plus string lights and extension cords

So glad you asked this.  This is one I’ve been pondering the last few days.

I would also definetely check with your venue to see what the protocol is for draping. We draped our venue, not the ceiling however, as that blew the budget out of the water, and the only rule was no holes in the walls or ceiling.
