I drink black coffee.  I usually make two K-Cups in the morning, and then will get drip coffee from the local coffee shop midmorning with coworkers.

At home I drink good quality decaf instant coffee with milk and sugar (usually Nescafé Azera), I have a cafetière, but tbh I find good instant coffee tastes nicer and is much easier to make. If I’m buying coffee out then I will usually have a decaf vanilla latte (iced or hot depending on the season) or a decaf caramel macchiato. Never tried coffee creamer and don’t know where to buy it in the UK, so I just always use milk.

gray15 :  I brought my Fiance’ a Keurig for Christmas because he is an avid coffee drinker, I however was not…UNTIL I got him that Keurig and now I can’t help but have a cup to take with me every morning to work like he does (we both have thermal mugs). We like to try different creative flavors (we had one put out by “Donut Shop” called Vanilla Creme Puff!) along side different creamer flavors and a little sugar. My advice, just have fun with it!

We have a Keurig and we keep saying that we’re going to get something better, but we haven’t yet.

I preferred flavored coffee, like french vanilla.  I also add quite a bit of creamer, again flavored.  I don’t like milk or half and half – it has to be flavored creamer.  I don’t add any additional sugar since the creamer already had a lot.

When I go out I usually get iced coffee.  Dunkin Donuts is my favorite but lately I’ve been liking McDonald’s iced coffee.  Starbucks is too bitter for me and I don’t have any little coffee shops around me.  I should rephrase that and say I do, but they don’t have a drive thru, LOL.

I use an electric percolator. It makes great coffee and doesn’t take up a lot of space to store. I like it with cream and sugar.

I love my Nespresso. It produces a great crema and I’m happy to drink it black.

gray15 :  hot coffee I mostly drink black, but sometimes splash a little cream in it if a particular cup is too strong for me. If I put sugar in you know it’s really bad and I’m really desperate for the caffeine lol. Iced coffee I do a little milk/cream and sometimes a splenda.

I got a Keurig for $20 new and use that the most. But also scored a small 4 cup coffee maker at Goodwill for under $5. For Christmas as a couple me and fiance got an espresso machine.

So we drink coffee all sorts of ways I guess. But regardless of how its made we usually use skim milk/half and half and some sort of sweetner (sweet n low, sugar free syrups). Or a creamer that has flavor already in it.

When out I get iced coffee with skim and sweetner (boring) at places like Dunkin. At Starbucks I usually get something hot and seasonal made skinny and sugar free. (Pumpkin Spice, Peppermint Mocha, Gingerbread Latte, etc).

My husband and one of our daughters work in coffee so our family is spoiled. On most workdays, I have 8oz of nitro cold brew with 8 oz of lactose-free milk and 1 tsp of agave syrup over 4 ice cubes (sealed and shaken up in a mason jar, perfect fit for my lunch bag).

On Saturday or Sunday, I’ll do a single-origin pourover or in the french press. We are coffee snobs. embarassed

I have a cheap cold brew maker that I love and a cheap espresso maker. Both work for us and don’t feel the need for anything else. 🙂 we add steamed milk (made with the espresso maker) Or splash of cold milk for ice coffee, then add alittle vanilla extract and sometimes alittle homemade simple syrup if I want something sweet. gray15 :

We have Keurig but don’t like it; a bit too much trash for us.

When I just drink 1-2 cups a day, w used this . Easy and require no electricity nor added trash.

When I need more and plan to work until late, I brew hot-cold coffee concentrate and put it in the fridge. I did hot first to get more caffeine. Basically put around a cup of ground coffee in a large mason jar, put hot water, leave the jar to cool off on the counter, screw the cap off and put it in the fridge. After a day-ish, the ground settles down and you don’t even need filter when you (carefully) pour it out. I can get 4-6 depending on how strong I want it to be.

I think one thing that makes a difference in the flavor is that we bought relatively good whole beans from Costco, and ground it within several days before drinking or right before making concentrate. Costco have good beans for reasonable price.

We have a Ninja coffee bar and it’s great. I make iced coffee everyday with enough coconut creamer to make it light. When I’m out I usee to love hazelnut or plain hot lattes, or iced hazelnut coffee. Unfortunately I can’t have dairy anymore and none of the creamer subs taste right in hot coffee, so no more lattes for me.

Home – french press. Either black or with a splash of cream if we have it.

Work – We have a kurig. I like the flavoured coffees, current favourite is butterscotch with a splash of cream.

I dont really order coffee out, because i find it so overpriced lol.

I used to be a barista and majorly obsess about coffee. I often make myself lattes at home in the morning, but if I’m in the mood for just a plan cup of regular coffee I use a pour over and drink it black. I also usually have iced or cold brew coffee in the fridge most of the year.
