I was curious how other brides felt about “bride” clothing/items? I haven’t quite decided if I like them or think they are tacky?
~ Bride T-shirts/tanks
Would you buy your own ‘bride’ items, or only wear them if they were bought for you?
Do you think “Bride” clothing/items are cute or tacky?

@Whimsical.Sprite: I like them. I have a “Future Torphy Wife” shirt that is pretty cute and Fiance loves it when I wear it. If I could have more I would but I am waiting until it get closer to the time of the wedding to get more.

Not my style. I don;t know that I would wear it even if it was a gift that I didn’t have to pay for. But they are overpriced for just a screenprinted, etc image simply because it’s wedding related.

I got a bride bathrobe to get ready in on “the day” and then I got some of the bridal panties from VS for our honeymoon which Darling Husband loved 🙂 I think they’re adorable, I mean, you only get one chance to wear it right?! Have some fun!

I personally see them as a waste of money. I would wear them if they were free or gifts, but I wouldn’t buy them myself.

i wouldnt call them tacky but im not a fan of them myself, especially the bride underware

I would not wear them for just everyday but I am going to Vegas for my honeymoon and I think one with some bling would be perfect.

I think they can be cute, but not really me. I’m not really the girly-girl type, and I wouldn’t spend the money on them myself. But as a general rule, I rarely wear any clothing with sayings on it… so I might be biased.

I think it’s cute for the day of, but probably wouldn’t sport a Bride shirt on an everyday basis.

I think they are absolutely cute! I would buy them for myself and wear them! Thougn, as much as I would wear them for the bridal shower (or that week anyway) and for the bachelorette party … I’m afraid I wouldn’t just wear them out all the time.
And after the wedding, they’re stuff to wear around the house. 🙂

My friend bought me a “Bride to be” tank top that I wore for the first part of my bachelorette. It was cute and fun. I ended up wearing it again to the spa the day before my wedding. I figured my friend paid enough for it, I might as well get a little more use out of it…especially since I wouldn’t be able to wear it after the wedding.

@abbyful: I couldn’t agree more!

The “bride” attire is not really for me, but my mom did get me a “bride” tote bag which I loved and ended up using as a carry-on and for a beach bag during the honeymoon. Actually it seemed like almost every couple had something that said bride and groom on it during our honeymoon…matching tees with Mr. ___ and Mrs. ___ and I love my wife/husband were very popular.

I loved them. I had the T-shirts and even a bride pant suit for our wedding day. They were great. You only get to be a bride once in your life (hopefully) live it up while you can
