Because there are so many different styles, you can;t lump them all together, The one you chose is pretty and is not going to make your dress look dated or timeless. Fashion goes in circles, and what is in or out now will come back into style a few years down the road, and you can’t do anything about it.

Only you can decide what to wear or not, and what someone else thinks doesn;t matter.

@UK Bride: I mean this looks like a 1920s piece so I definitely think it is timeless, simply because it is trendy right now.  I don’t think I would buy the Jenny Packham ($$$) though as these are very popular right now and a dime a dozen (well maybe a dollar a dozen lol)

I do think headpieces are trendy but that isn’t neccessarily always a bad thing. Trends come in and out.  I think the headpiece you posted looks elegant and would look wonderful with your gown.  You look stunning in your gown btw.

Oh my gosh that headpiece is stunning! I think it would look gorgeous with your dress. If you don’t wear it I will 🙂

At the end of the day, almost everything goes in and out of style a few times. I would wear what you feel beautiful in.

I really like the headpiece you posted, and I think it would pair well with your dress. Honestly, whatever you chose to wear should reflect your own style.. Worry less about whether or not it will be in style 20 years down the road! If you think it looks nice with your dress, buy it 🙂

I think it depends on you and your style.  I’ve seen brides look timeless in huge sparkling tiaras, and nothing at all, or just a veil with on little sparkling comb.

I’m wearing a 3 inch wide bling headband because I’m not wearing a veil at all.

Honestly, if you are worried about over accessorizing, a headpiece may not be your style.  I think the anisette headpiece would look fantastic with your dress, but its whatever you feel most comfortable in.  What type of hairstyle and veil are you wearing?

There are some that are huge and over the top and I definitely think they are trendy, but brides have worn flowers or combs or ribbons or clips in their hair for centuries. If you find one that you love I don’t think you have to worry about it being trendy. A lot of it has to do with how you wear your hair.
