@Keylime Pie: Fellow oily skinned Bee, I feel your pain. Ugh, they say having oily skin is a blessing in disguise because we’ll fend off the wrinkles a little longer but it doesn’t mean it isn’t annoying!

Yes, I wear makeup everyday (except if I’m sick).

Omg I LOVE makeup!!! Lol I use to wear it 24/7 but after having my son 4 years ago and watching my sisters kids (both toddlers) I don’t have any time to do it and I look like I’m 15 as well but I try patting concealer, mascara and lipgloss on a daily basis now.

I just thought of something… what about using the Pixi eye bright liner to make your eyes appear more open without all the effort of the usual makeup routine? It’s pricey but it works, plus it’s waterproof which is a requirement for us oily skinned girls.

Pixi eye bright waterproof eyeliner from Target

ETA: I also have olive undertones. I love the Make Up For Ever (MUFE) HD concealer.

I like make-up, but I don’t wear it often at all.  I am usually at home or working overnights at the hospital.  I don’t see the need to always wear it.  There were times were I would just put on some bronzer and mascara.

I don’t really like makeup; it’s fun on occasion, but I wear it maybe 3 times a year.  I can’t go without lipstick, though (I don’t really count it because I choose sheer colors).  A few products I love:

Benetint.  I only use it on my lips.  You can use it on your cheeks, too.  It’s a stain that last a long time and you don’t have to worry about.  It’s very natural looking.

Aveeno positively radiant.  It’s a face moisturizer with light diffusers.  It has a subtle pearliness to it.  It makes me feel purdy, even though it’s not an obvious effect.

I don’t remember the exact name of the product, but Covergirl makes these sheer lip colors that I think have sunscreen in them.  They’re pretty and just add the right amount of color without looking “made up”

I’ll never leave the house without at least concealer, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara. But most days during the week I have the whole face thing going on. About a year ago I got really sick of having to do make-up every day, but rather than stop I started watching make-up tutorials on youtube and investing in some higher quality stuff. Now I get excited about it again.

That being said, when I’m sick or going away or just on the weekends and I really can’t be bothered, you’d be amazed what a bit of powder on the nose and some tinted eyelashes can do. Have you considered having a beautician tint your eyelashes/eyebrows for you?

I usually end up with a little blush, a little mascara and some lip gloss. I almost never wear foundation, I have yet to find anything that REALLY matches my skin tone so I dont look fake.

I have never worn makeup.  Sometimes people are shocked by this.  I never have, and I never will.  I take care of myself, my hair, my skin, and I eat and exercise right.  I just don’t think makeup is necessary.  I like feeling free πŸ™‚  It is one of DH’s favorite things about me.

I love makeup, but there are lots of days when I use a nude/gold shimmer eyeshadow, which looks really light and a coat or two of mascara and I’m good to go as far as eye makeup.

Normally I wear several eyeshadow shades and eyeliner, the whole bit, but I don’t feel like a slave to it. It’s freeing to not wear a lot of makeup.  It’s one of those bandaid things, just don’t wear it for a couple days and you’ll get used to it.

Foundation, on the other hand, I have a severe love/hate relationship with.

I leave the house daily and go to my job (in Commercial Banking, no less…but SUPER casual thank the Lord!) with mascara, moisturizer, and carmex. Exactly those 3 things. No more, no less. If I’m going ‘out’ I will put more on, but I’m super comfortable in my own skin and I’m not super GORG but hey I’m decent! lol πŸ™‚ Self confidence ladies!

My Fiance hates me wearing makeup. He says I look beautiful without it. πŸ™‚ However I know  that makeup, if applied right brings out the greatest features of our faces. So I wear it a couple times a week. Like yourself I Hate waking up early to do makeup! Other mornings, I enjoy it.

So Id say do makeup on the days you want to, and dont do it on days u really dont want to. And wear more one day, and less another day. Anything is possible.

I have oily, sensative skin and moderate adult acne.

Daily, I wear an oil-free moisturizer, an oil-free makeup setting spray by Urban Decay, Mac StudioPro foundation, Bare Essentials bronzer, Mac creamblush, Mac colorless setting powder, another spray of the setting spray, and Dior eyeshadow.  This takes me like 5 minutes at the most to apply.  I have large eyes, great eyebrows, and long, thick lashes, so I only bother with eyeshadow for major occassons.  Whether I put on lipgloss of not… jsut kind of depends on my mood, but it’s not an essential part of my normal routine.

Any day I feel like I can get away without makeup… so when I’m not doing anything professional or going shopping for clothes (because I HATE the way my skin looks under those harsh lights and it messes with my perception of the way I look as I try clothing on), I just don’t weat it.  I give my skin a little break.

I’m all about the bare minimum….everyday, I wear a little bronzer, a nude/pinkish eye shadow, mascara, and blistex. I feel like a huge part of going make-up less, is having awesome skin. I have never worn or tried foundation or concealer, or anything heavier than my bronzer (MAC mineralize-very natural looking). I am harsh on my skin, but everyone always says how smooth and nice it looks…and I use exfoliating gloves everyday, all over..including my face! I also then use the clean and clear exfoliating scrub that smells all menthol-y. I feel like this leaves me with totally clear, fresh, and dewy looking skin…no qualms about going make-up less, just put on a little moisturizer and that’s it, if I feel like it that day. Maybe see how you feel about the gloves? They can be found at any Rite Aid or CVS…the exfoliating mit is also an option, but I don’t think it’s abrasive enough. πŸ™‚
