Yep I do, what helps me is listening to upbeat music in the car and an espresso drink.
I generally have a little pity party, have hot cocoa or something then kick my ass into gear by saying “stop whining!”. Ha, I hate those days.
Daydream about something that motivates u (like ur wedding day) and maybe a lil sinful indulgence of ur fav food… I’m about to take a sip of my milkshake I left in the fridge (I kno horrible dnt judge me) haha
I go on the bee! My future wedding is all the motivation I need. Well, that and a coffee in the morning.
@carbear02: I try to focus on what I KNOW to be true and not how I FEEL at that moment. And, like @Bazinga: and @peachacid: said, I find good music to be very helpful.
My favorite, upbeat, morning song is this one by Mandisa and Tobymac!
Yup! I’m having an entire week like this. Yesterday I was feeling so down on myself for not working out and feeling so crappy lately that I promised myself I would go to the gym after work. Didn’t happen. I ended up doing “invitation research” then decided to design my own invitations. Before I knew it, it was almost 7 and I still had to make dinner and had some cleaning to do. This is the story of my life lately!
On mornings where I really don’t want to go to work and really don’t feel motivated I wear a cute outfit and get Starbucks on my way to work. It’s something small but it can sometimes help to make the day better.
My only advice is force yourself if you can. I agree with good music!
I end up feeling so blah when I skip my AM workout that that’s pretty much enough to motivate me to get my butt out of bed the next day, haha!
As far as the not wanting to go to work, I try to give myself something to look forward to in the evenings after work, even if it’s just watching a favorite movie with my husband or something.
You’ve just described my every morning. The only way I get out of it is knowing I only have a few days left of work.
If I skip my morning workout I beat myself up over it the entire rest of the day so when I feel that way I tell myself that I don’t want to do that tomorrow and then I am good to go the next day.
