Hmmm…I’d worry that with a rubber stamp, the ink would run or rub off.  Maybe you could find someone WITH a Gocco who can help you out!

Cant you just order them? are you talking about the disposable paper napkins? I ordered mine from itsyourparty.com and I got 100 for $29 and they looked amazing!

if ou buy the Staz On ink pad brand they will not run or smear.  They are oil based ink pads (like the gocco ink) so when it dries.. its dry.  no smudging or anything.  many girls on the knot have used this method that didnt have a gocco and they turned out great.

@lilcfitness:  Congrats on your wedding!  You posted on an earlier thread that you were ordering fewer napkins than guests.  How did that work out?  I still haven’t placed my order.  :o)

The cheapest deal I found was about $16 per 100. I know they’re on sale for $17/100 on theknot right now. We would’ve needed 500 (our caterer said 5 napkins per guest) so we just had to cut them from the budget, but I love how they look.

I got my napkins from theknot.com.  When I ordered them they were $16 per 100.  But did notice that their sale that ends today has them for $17 per 100.  I’m going to order another 100 because I wasn’t sure how I would like the pumpkin color if it would go with my chocolate and burnt orange, but it was absolutely gorgeous that I’m ordering more of the pumpkin.  They are well worth the money and you get them fairly quickly and they have free personalization too!!  I searched several sites looking for napkins and these were the cheapest.  Hope this helps!  Good luck!

Ejs4y8 – I have thought about doing them with rubber stamps too. Will you let us know how they turn out if you try it? One bee also used these costers http://blockheadstamps.com/coasters.html and stamped/embossed them with rubber stamps.  They looked really cool.  I dont know why but I cant paste the link to the post in here, but it was Miss Fondue in October 2008 "At the Bar Part 1"

I ordered from the knot….but rather than the suggested number per guest, I got one pack of 100 and will have my DOC just shove them randomly in the piles of napkins. So they just show up here and there. I know that’s kinda cheap…but I’m telling myself the occaisonal personalized napkin will be a fun little surprise here and there. I wanted them but I didn’t want to spend hundreds on them…so…I figured under $20 was ok.

Also try Etsy. I’m sure you can use the Alchemy feature and someone that owns a gocco would do them for you. Under $20 for 100 napkins is cheap. I would just order them and save the hassle.

I agree the stamp is expensive, I guess you could see it as an investment – use it on other things – thank yous etc.  If you want eat drink and be married I’m not sure what your colors are but I went to Michael’s yesterday and they have "eat drink and be married" cocktain napkins and coasters all pre-made. Dont remember how much they were but I bet with a 40% off coupon they would be cheap. I think they were white with a lake blueish writing.
