Kayak gave me a bunch of flights from NYC to bora bora. I’d just search flights from where you live to bora bora. It will put in a connecting flight if one is needed.

@peachacid:  It could be because you are earching too far out if you are using your actual wedding date. Schedules may not have been published yet.

If you are only looking for general information, not trying to actually book a flight yet,try searching with earlier dates

You need to get to papaeete international airport and puddle jump from there. Since it’s an international airport, not sure why you can’t find any flights. There should be plenty.

Check out the website or call some airlines directly. Good luck and I’m sure it will be worth the effort:)

No advice, just wanted to say not only are we date twins, but probably honeymoon twins too!  We haven’t planned anything yet, but fiancé is checking out Bora Bora, Tahiti, and Moorea.  I’m putting most of our wedding on my Delta American Express (and paying it off as we go) so hopefully we’ll have enough miles to pay for at least one of the flights!

There is direct flights from LAX to Papeete then to Bora Bora.  There are no direct flight to Bora Bora from US.

You can only book flights (or so the TA told me) 10 months in advance so that’s probably why you can’t find any.

Spain is fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. It’s a far cry from Bora Bora though…more of a series of city breaks than a paradise.

Yes! Seville and Granada….i’m actually wriggling in my seat with excitement for you! Maybe Barcelona if you can. If you go to one of the Costa’s you can get an all inclusive type beach experience too…just avoid Benidorm if you can. It’s more (dare I say it) tacky Sealed

I think you’re too far out – most only let you book out no further than a year.

@peachacid:  I’m getting married in New Jersey.  I have a dress designed and hopefully construction has already started.  (I posted a pic in your dress thread from a few days ago). Good luck in your planning, I feel like all the fun stuff starts now that we’re inside the one year mark.  And Spain sounds fabulous! I was there for about 5 days when I was in high school, I wish I remembered more of the trip!
