Brazillian wax all the way! I like it baby smooth and hairless!

    Shaving. I can't handle pain.

Tweezing... I only need to get rid of a few stray strands

Trimming... I just like it short and neat, but not completely gone

None, I'm an au natural kinda girl

    Other (please enlighten us)

I used to do brazilian wax myself at home… done with that now as I had it permanently removed with laser! 🙂

Right now, it’s mostly just me shaving and sculpting but I want to have laser done eventually.  Need the money though!

I shave it all. I’m not scared of the pain of a wax, but i don’t like how you have to let it grow a little before you get waxed!!! I can’t handle that feeling! 🙂

I tried to wax it once by myself when i was pregnant. BAD idea!!! I couldn’t see to start, and I ended up waxing my legs together and making myself bleed down there! Not a pretty sight (even though i couldn’t see it!!!) so i just stuck to shaving for the rest of the pregnancy! (and still do 🙂 )

I have a little electric trimmer meant for my girl parts and I shave it really short about once a month.. Works well for me and I can’t even imagine getting a brazilian-ouch!

This thread is great.  And very informative…Wink.

I shave and trim whatever hair is there.  Ever hear of a product line called Betty?  Color for the Hair Down There?

Well go get your freak on because there’s:

    1. Fun Betty (Hot Pink) – I’ll admit it to the hive: I’ve been a fun Betty before.  It was, um, interesting.

    2. Auburn Betty

    3. Blonde Betty

    4. Brown Betty

    5. Black Betty

    6. Malibu/Bridal Betty (Aqua Blue)

    7. Sexy Betty (Purple)

    8. Love Betty (red)

    9. Lucky Better (Green)

I got lasered and I only have 2 sessions left after 3 years of doing this every 8 weeks. I think it was totally worth it and its less painful than a wax. American Laser Centers $3000 for Brazilian

Most of the time, I just trim w/ scissors, and just shave the bikini line. I CANNOT shave all of it…my skin is sensitive and it gets all itchy and crap. Believe me, I tried it once, and had issues for a long time.

However, once in a while, esp. summertime, I wax it all off myself! Hehe..its not that bad at all. I love Gigi All Purpose Honee wax and the muslin strips. It hurts a little, and is a pain to do the whole thing, but whatever its worth it!

I shave, but not because I can’t handle the pain, but because I’m broke!! Otherwise, I like to get waxed.

I’m so sick of shaving and waxing down there that I made an appointment to start on electrolysis next month.  It’s really pricey ($160 for an hour session), but I’m convinced it will be worth it in the long run.

I’ve been doing brazilians now for 5 years and love them… they still hurt somewhat, but I HATED shaving because of all the ingrowns.  The lady I go to is great and makes them as painless as possible.  The place I go to only does waxing and does not allow their patrons to tip… instead, they want us to refer clients to them… so… If you live in Denver, and I think they have a place in Dallas as well, send me PM and I’ll give you the name of a great place!

I have an electric razor and keep it trimmed very short.

I used to have a Seiko Cleancut razor also to get that super close shave after trimming but mine gave out after 5-6 years. I’ll probably reinvest in one soon. It looks like a sweater shaver to get the little fuzz and balls off and it’s great because it doesn’t pinch, cut, etc.

I’d try wax but have never had good luck with waxing in the past so I’d rather stay away.

I shave it all off. I’ve never had any problems with it. I’d love to get a brazilian wax but I’m scared of the pain, and I’m afraid I might get really bad ingrowns. I can only imagine what kind of hell that would be.

I wish I had an answer to this. If possible I’d always have a hollywood or brazillian – buy which I mean, completely bare or mostly (different places have different names I’ve found). This is problematic because a) I get terrible razor burn no matter what I try, and b) I kind of grudge paying the money to get it waxed regularly when you have to wait on it to grow in a bit again!

I used to go to a great place that did the Hollywood, which is absolutely everything gone, but I moved away and I’ve only since found places that don’t remove everything underneath. I will never wax myself with those home kits ever again, it always ends up a bit rubbish and more painful!

Shave, would wax if I could afford it.

I had a brazilian done once and it was nice – and yet very startling when she lifted my leg. yikes.
