Extra sleep does pretty well for me.

Adequate sleep, proper nutrition, yoga and running. A lot of times a monotonous activity can help- like if you knit, doing the same thing over and over can be soothing and get your mind off of things.

Honestly?  Being crabby to my fiance and watching reruns of SYTTD.  The more healthy reaction that comes after the inital freak out is running, making lists, and cleaning.

@BooRadley:  I’m a list maker and a box checker, as well. What actually has caused me stress is that I have all these darn lists and things planned out to do and then getting texts from my mtoher with “you need to do this…” “have you done that…”

IT’S ON THE LIST! Ha.

@CakeyP:  If I were you I would try a massage every month or two. They dont have to be crazy expensive like a lot of people think. Massage Envy is a really nice place and they are decently priced and also they are always having things for massage on Groupon. A pedicure every now and then is really relaxing too! 🙂 Sometimes you just need to treat yourself and let everything else worry about itself for a few hours.

I run quite a bit. Really clears the head.

I also vent to my closest family/ friends. I unload all that crap and feel SO much better.
