- Wedding: August 2015 - Southern Plantation House
Darling Husband and I were married in August and I’m dying to display a few of our wedding pictures around our apartment! I’m on the hunt for inspiration… how are yours displayed? Gallery wall? One or two pretty frames here and there? Do you have another creative way of showing them off? Show and/or tell me about it! 🙂

We have so many wedding photos printed out, but my favorite one that’s displayed is a large canvas in the center of my mantle with our champagne flutes on either side of it.

MrsTeacup: we did a mix of all of the above! we have a small gallery wall in a hallway, a framed full family picture in the living room, and a couple kissy face ones on our nightstands (because nobody but us wants to look at pictures of us making out hahahhaa)

Oh I forgot to add, I bought Darling Husband a digital photo frame and he loaded it with a bunch of wedding photos/engagement photos. He loves it!

I only have one or two. I don’t know why – but I prefer to have them in an album than all over my walls. I have one in a frame in the guest room and one in a frame in the living room.

I have one 8×10 on the shelf above my desk, my husband and I both have framed 5×6’s on our nightstands, I have a wedding album I made on a tray on my coffee table, and we also have a digital frame we got as a wedding present that has some pics on it. I’m terrible at actually hanging wedding or family photos and mostly have regular art on the walls. I think a gallery wall would be cool, but I’d probably want to mix in with some regular photos of family so its not all wedding stuff.

I’m planning on doing three 8×10’s in gallery frames above our bed and then a 5×7 on each of our night stands. I may put a frame or two on the bookshelves in the living room too, but not sure yet.

MrsTeacup: We don’t have ours back yet, but we have a big built in bookshelf and bar in our apartment, so the top is lined with about 15 pictures of varying sizes. When we get wedding photos back, 3 or 4 of those photos will get replaced with wedding ones. I also plan to have one framed for my office desk and we’ll have an album as well to flip through.

I bought three of these rustic window pane frames at target and filled them with my favorites. I’m sure they’ll slowly get swapped out for family/baby pictures as we have kids but for now I love having one big display in our living room.
I’ve also got a few 4×6’s framed on my desk at work but I have a printed copy of every single picture that are in boxes and I intend to eventually put them in an album, maybe one day lol

We have them in a few different places. We have one large canvas of our favorite photo in the living room, which used to hang in our bedroom but I liked having it out in the living space since we spend more time there. We have a “friends” frame which has pictures of us and our bridal party members in the dining area. We also have this amazing custom frame I purchased on Etsy that has both of our vows on it, and a 5×7 photo in the center, that’s in our hallway. Other than that, maybe a couple small ones sprinkled throughout bedrooms.

MrsTeacup: I pronted a ton, not knowing what I wanted to do with them. We have some in a collage frame we got for our wedding up in our living room. Some more 4X6 sizes are scattered around the house (basement living room, and our bedroom). Another couple of photos (4X6 and 8X10) are in our office on the top of my computer desk.
I’ve been wanting to get a canvas print done to hang above our bed, but Darling Husband doesn’t want to let go of the picture that’s up there (think outdoor cabin). I also have some frames brought to put up a nice 11X14 pic of us in our bedroom… but that still hasn’t gotten done.
We have pics in frames that ares till sitting on our living room floor, as we have no wall space for them. Granted, if Darling Husband would find new homes for his 4 deer heads in the basement, along with all of the other “deer” prints… we would have lots of room! *lol*

We have a large collage frame with our favourite guest photos in our front hallway. When we finally get around to hanging our guestbook print we’ll be putting two 8x10s on either side. I have a 5×7 print of my grandma and I on a shelf. And when we finally get the last few photos we’re going to get a canvas done, as well as a print on wood (part of our photography package).
And, not really ‘on display’ but I made an album of all of the good guest photos.

We have two of those free code photo books from shutterfly with our wedding pictures. We have them displayed on our mantle. Darling Husband has one of our wedding photos in his home office. It would be cool to get a canvas made though!

I went a little crazy and hung a gallery wall above the couch. My plan originally was a mix of our engagement photos and wedding photos, and we could add in family photos and stuff as time goes on. But I Got overzealous and just used wedding pics. But I love it!
