Since WB is being difficult and wont let me post pictures, below are links to my wedding look so far…
Note: I have not yet purchased my shoes and need one by the end of the month for fittings.
Here is my dress (I know its an older model but i am so in love!!)
Here are removable sleeves I bought to wear with my dress:
For my belt I just bought an Ivory ribbon so I can wear like so:

Hair and makeup….no clue yet 🙁

TBH, I don’t like the sleeves with that dress. They look cheap & too casual for that dress.

Agree with PP. The sleeves aren’t the right match. And I can’t see the belt you mention, but the dress itself is pretty!

You can definitely go without the sleeves! The dress is gorgeous!

I already bought the sleeves 🙁

I can’t take my sleeves back David’s wont accept returns for purchases made in their store….gee I don’t know what to do now I don’t want to look cheap 🙁

I would try it on a few times with and without the sleeves to see which you like better! Ultimately, it’s your day and you should feel confident and beautiful in your choice!

appleblossom217 : store credit? I was able to return a bridesmaid dress, after deciding I didnt want to be in someones wedding given her behavior. I exchanged that ugly thing for a cocktail dress. 🙂

l wouldn’t wear the sleeves…

I’m also not a fan of the sleeves. If you can’t return them or get store credit for them, I’d try selling them on eBay or through one of the various pre-loved wedding dress sites. I’m sure someone would buy them!

Ok Bees, update: I am going to try it on with my dress (which is at the seamstress) and also called David’s who said I can (if I decide to) swap it with another merchandise.

Another one, sorry, who doesn’t like that little sleeve/topper thing. A plain tulle one might work well.
I also think that dress does not need a belt (of any sort). It has long fluid lines to the bodice which will be cut in half by a belt. The Diana dress with the sash you posted is quite different to yours, and all the pics of you posted of brides in your dress have no sashes/belts and that’s for a reason .

appleblossom217 : beautiful dress. I’m not a fan of the sleeves either but it may look nicer on you than the model. I’d post a picture with and without if you can (when the website works) for the bees to give you a better opinion.
The sleeves could be kept for another occasion. It could look quite pretty with a different color strapless dress.

It’s your wedding day, if you want to wear the sleeves, you rock those sleeves. You need to feel beautiful 🙂
i personally love lots of lace which many of my friends think looks outdated….I don’t care. It’s what I like, they can choose a dress without lace for their wedding day. This is YOUR day! I think you’ll look fab.
