I prefer medium well. A lot of the steakhouses I’ve been too, medium rare might as well be raw/rare, which I’m not a fan of.

Still mooing. Rare all the way. If I’m cooking for both of us, I take mine off first because he doesn’t even like to eat it as rare as I do.

I love rare filet mignon. For me, other cuts like top sirloin have a little too much texture to eat rare, but I still don’t cook it quite to medium rare. Fun fact: well done and barbecued meats are thought to contain more of the heterocyclic amine compounds that have been linked to negative health effects of eating red meat. I’d be curious to compare the stats of habitual consumers of rare steak vs well done steak to see if this trend holds up in practice.

my fiance eats his rare, literally still cold in the middle. it makes me cringe.

I like my tofu and eggplant steaks cooked medium and marinated well. 😉

I like mine rare, it just tastes better to me. My Father eats his “black & blue”, you basically just heat up the pan and sear each side. haha.

I like my steak as chicken. LOL! I just don’t like steak very much, my family thinks I’m totally weird.
but if I had to choose– medium rare. pink on the inside.

I don’t eat much red meat, but I do love a good steak. Well-seasoned and medium well. I’m weird, though, and I like “cheap” cuts that have little fat on them.

The more red, the better. I actually prefer steak tartare (raw), either done the French way or Ethiopian. Yum. It’s not for everyone but I love it.

I like it well done. SO likes it rare. I got a lecture about the difference between raw and rare.

I’m a rare-steak girl. Like, really rare; my FH, who won’t touch steak unless it’s well done, refers to it as “explain to the cow what the concept of fire is, shoot it, and stick it on a plate”, LOL!
I can’t stand anything above medium (and that I’ll only eat to be polite). Gross.
