@PitBulLover: I know right? I mean if it’s under it drags on the undercarriage of the toilet paper holder enclave and it rips off more easily when you’re trying to pull. Makes good sense to have it over.

Ketchup can be either cold or room temp, but the toilet paper has to be under. While I agree that it looks better over, the cat can’t unravel the role if it’s under.

Ketchup in the fridge, and toilet paper OVER!! I always fight with my mom on that one… she likes it under so whenever I go over I switch her rolls over to how I like them hahaha.

ketchup in the fridge, TP over!

As for ketchup sitting out at restaurants.. I’m pretty sure they go through the bottles a heck of a lot quicker than I would in my house, so it has less time to go bad.

@rolling berry: Ugh, speaking of the Ketchup in the restaurants…

I cannot seem to EVER use them. I once saw a kid licking the rim and sticking his entire tongue into one of the glass ketchup jars at their table.

Never. Again.

Our toilet paper is not on the little roll thingy. I hate those. I don’t like my toilet paper touching the cabinet. We have little stands that have a pole that the TP sits on vertically and you just spin some off.

Ketchup goes in the fridge or heads roll! LOL jk

Ketchup = fridge! I honestly don’t care what the package says, I just like it in the fridge. Also, my syrup stays in pantry, FI’s stays in fridge. One of my mom’s husbands hated putting cold ketchup on warm food, so we’d always have two bottles in the house, one warm, one cold.

TP = over! If it’s under, you can’t make the pretty triangles, and for whatever reason, my knuckles hit the wall when it’s under lol. Plus you have to reach farther to grab it, you can’t see where the sheet ends, oy vey I could go on lol!

Ketchup:  Both!  He likes it cold, but I get grumpy if I have a warm burger plaqued with coldness 🙂  It is definately Heinz though…  Everything else seems too sweet.

TP:  Whatev…  I am just happy if it is actually on the holder!

Ketchup – goes in the fridge. Nothing better than hot fries with cold ketchup

TP – which ever way it goes on. Doesn’t matter to me.

Ketchup- cold

TP- over

Parmesan cheese- cold

Peanut Butter- warm

Maple Syrup- cold

I understand how the TP thing could go either ways, but am seriously confused on the food products! If the bottle says to refridgerate it- I am going to refrigerate it! I am very paranoid about eating spoiled foods- yuck!

Ketchup is called tomato sauce Wink and lives in the fridge. ALTHOUGH I much prefer it left out and I swear it is only recently that the labels say “Refrigerate after opening” (at least in Aus). So now that they say that I’m scared to leave it out, even though I went 20-something years eating non-refrigerated sauce and I’m not dead yet. I need to toughen up and just leave it out.

TP goes over. No question. It just does not work the other way!

Uh, am I the only one who never thought about the toilet paper thingie? I honestly had to go into my bathroom to check how it is and I don’t know which is over or under. Ketchup stays in the fridge. Maple syrup too but I prefer it in the pantry (who has one in NYC??!!!) When I was growing up, we kept our eggs at room temperature. I never knew eggs went in the fridge. A consequence of that is that I now eat eggs past their expiry date. Hey, it’s in the fridge 🙂

Ketchup has to be cold and must be Heinz!  I’m really particular about a lot of things, but I honestly don’t care what way the TP is.  I don’t think I even pay attention when I replace a roll!
