littlebeans : lol .. well a lot of your examples are not day to day things in my life, I don’t make bread, I get free valet’s at the dealership were I purchased my car, hence don’t do much cleaning of my own car, I live in an apartment so don’t own a garden.
When I am cleaning I wear rubber gloves at all times, and when I am cooking I don’t remove them, I just tend to wash my hands before and after – I’ve never handled raw meat to the extent it get’s all caught up in my rings..
If I was painting, or doing something really messy then yeah I would remove them but it’s not very often I’m getting my hands dirty tbh
I think OP was more gearing towards folks who take theirs off to sleep or shower, like daily tasks and how do they remember to wear them. I just don’t feel the need to remove them for those tasks hence never go a day without them.

littlebeans : i just got over a very nasty ringworm that grew under my Fitbit. The only time I ever took it off was to sleep. After this huge, disgusting growth on my wrist, I’m dedicated to never wearing something on my body 24/7 ever again lol plus it’s uncomfortable for me to sleep with anything on my hands!

jemmlove12 : honestly I had no idea so many people never took their rings off! it sure seems like an excellent way to keep up with them, but it isn’t for me and my lifestyle I don’t think lol

happiekrappie : what about putting it in a ring box in your purse when you take it off, then even if you forget to put it on the next day, you have it with you so you can get it out and put it on then?

If I ever took my off at home I’m sure I would have forgotten half the time, conveniently I don’t take them off unless I’m changing the sheets. Man, out of all the things I do with rings on, this one is by far the hardest for me. 😀 when I’m trying to tuck the sheets in, I hurt myself and bleed every time.

MiniMeow : Same here. I also generally have always worn rings every day before we got engaged.. so it is already part of my routine. I keep them in the light-up ring box that he proposed with. Don’t want the cats to get hold of em! Also – I keep the bathroom light on until I remember to put on the rings, which is the last thing I do in the morning

I just always wear mine. It’s that simple haha
I only ever take my rings off to do three things: shower, prepare meat, and wash the dishes by hand when the dishwasher doesn’t suffice.

Yes, yes, yes. You have truly risen above mere symbolism and taken your love to a higher plane. 😇
When I was married to my husband before this one, I tried sleeping in my rings, even though my skin is super sensitive and reacts to almost all metals.
I don’t know what I do in my sleep, but I woke up with a gash in my forehead from my engagement ring.

happiekrappie : I only take them off if I handle raw meat or sometimes gardening, but then they are always kept on a chain around my neck. Never anywhere else! Here you can also see my RHR (on top)
