I got married just a little over three months ago and got french tips put on for the big day. I had the nails filled once after, but finally decided to just have them removed. I am not all that girly and they just get in my way more than anything else. Since, my nails have been brittle and just sad! What do you use to help your nails to be more healthy after removing fake nails? Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I’m tired of them looking aweful and breaking all the time even when I keep them super short!

Take Biotin and let them grow out. There’s really nothing you can do about it until they grow out and return to normal.

I’d put in a gel overlay on top of your own nails, and just let it grow out. That way the gel will protect your natural nail whilst it strengthens, so you won’t injure yourself as easily. It’ll look funky at some point when it’s halfway off – more so if you get coloured gel! But it’s definitely worth it. Whenever I take my tips off, I do it this way, just to keep my nails looking their best.

No worries, buff them VERY gently to a smooth surface, and the cover with Butter London’s base coat, it evens out the rough edges with a natural matte finish.

Let them breathe for a few months.

Thanks ladies! I am definitely pathetic when it comes to these things and I was at the end of my rope with them constantly breaking!
