I usually sleep til 9, do yoga, meet Darling Husband for lunch somewhere, grocery shop, then work on getting stuff done around the house. Saturday night we usually meet up with friends.
How do you spend Saturdays?

Usually super lazy, especially since we’re trying to save money… FH plays video games, I do origami (for the wedding) and surf the internet. 😀 Usually we’ll break sometime in the afternoon or early evening for a movie or TV show and get/make something for dinner, possibly some romantic time, then typically back to games/internet.
We sound like boring old people but we’re pretty happy considering that we can’t really spend a lot of “going out money” until after the wedding.

I run errands in the morning, then go to dance class. Afterwards I’ll drive up to see Fiance (we’re long-distance), and we’ll hang out, see movie, or spend time with friends.

Used to be either:
– tea and cake and something fun (roller skating, rock climbing, walk along the Thames and exploring a food market)
– driving to visit friends or family
Now it’s: hang out in OH’s hospital room 🙂 We still usually have tea and cake!

We’re working on being less lazy. We usually get up sometime between 11 and 12 but now I’m trying to get up between 9:30 and 10:30. Admittedly, we usually wake up closer to the latter but don’t get up…
So once we’re up, I make breakfast and coffee (DH makes it during the week) and we eat that whilst watching “Saturday Kitchen” (UK Saturday weekend TV cooking/chat show).
Sometimes I end up staying on the couch being lazy all day, other times we get stuck into housework and reorganising the house (like today).
We’re building a dressing room in our bedroom (as our bedroom is pretty big by UK standards, possibly even by US standards at just over 200sqft) so that has been quite a big thing for us of late. We’re also trying to get on top of the mess of our house (we’re neither natural tidiers).
In the evenings we’ll generally just be chilling out as the weeks totally wipe us out.

today: laundry, clean, yoga, bank, groceries, cook, clean… borrrring
Fiance is working so at least I can get things done in peace! Lol usually he tries to help – last weekend we both cleaned the same bathroom twice.

I spend my Saturdays similar to how I spend most days of the week…working out, doing chores, and maybe doing homework! Fiance and I aren’t partiers like we used to be! 🙂

Grocery shopping, cleaning the house, then usually a project of some kind (wedding related or working on the house or baking). At night we typically meet up with friends for dinner or drinks.

My boyfriend works Saturdays so they’re “my day”. I usually relax in the morning, catch up on PVR’d shows from during the week… sometimes clean the house if I didn’t have time to do it during the week. Some days I’ll go out with friends or my sister and some days I’ll just do some shopping or grab coffee by myself, take my dogs for a walk, decorate the house.
Most of the time Saturday nights are are our date nights or the we hang out with friends or go out of town for the night.
I love Saturdays!

Usually we sleep in, I get up and make us both breakfast, we shower, and then head over to his family’s house. If we don’t go to visit we usually relax at home watching TV or playing Wii together. Sometimes we go wine shopping/browsing and just enjoy eachother’s company. We sometimes will meet up with friends but not always. It just depends on what sounds good to us and how we feel. =)

So jealous of everyone who gets saturday as a day off!! (: I technically have it off but I’m still a full-time student so basically weekends are dedicated to readings/assignments/other homework just like every other day of the week.

being lazy!! tv, trying out a new recipe for dinner, maybe exercising. I do my best not to leave the apartment all day!

saturdays for us are really no different than the other days of the week. my dh does like to watch his football (soccer) games first thing on saturdays. this morning it was really early. he got up at 5am to watch the game. what dedication. the game is in england so with the time change, it’s early here.
i slept in until almost 9am. very unusual for me.
my dh is now making me breakfast in bed. i have my tea and just waiting on the rest. he is attempting bacon and eggs. he really doesn’t cook often. he usually just makes me toast and/or fruit in the morning.
we’ll see how it turns out. i’m just worried how messy my kitchen will be :/
