I always tip at least 20% for salons/spas.

I try to tip at least 15-20%. I used to work as a stylist and it really depends on how the stylist gets paid honestly. I used to work for minimum wage, so even if the service was $150, if I only spent 2-3 hours on it, I would only make 20-30$ on that service without the tip. That being said, some stylists make commission/rent a chair so the amount of money they make on a service depends.

HaaaveYouMetTed: I always tip 20%. But then again, I use to work as a stylist. My average tip is 20%, but if I have exceptional service(hair, food, etc) I’ll go above that.
