Hey bees. I am in serious need of some tips for de-stressing. Work + wedding planning + family are driving me crazy. Have been tuning to alcohol lately (which is not doing much good for my complexion). Other ideas wld be much apprecicated.

Yoga, running, swimming, a bike ride through the neighborhood, a nap with my dogs, putt putt, OH! my favorite: do the humpty-hump .
A glass of wine & a bubble bath isn’t a bad idea either.

go outside for a walk/run. Shower, watch sappy chick flicks, read a good book. Day dream about smoking cigarettes (I’ve never been addicted to them, but smoked them socially….my Fiance quit cold turkey one year ago, so now I’ve banned myself from even having one socially—its hard!). DANCING!

Go running/hiking, take a nice bath, and pick up a good book! Alcohol just make me stress even more cause I can get real emotional after a few drinks lol

running or yoga! if you aren’t into exercise, try bubble baths or reading, or find a relaxing hobby you enjoy – this is going to sound super immature and weird but i find coloring extremely relaxing! Just do something that is totally only about you!

Alcohol was the only thing you could think of? hahahaha
I go hiking, play with my cat, do photography, go for a bike ride, hang out with friends, surf the internet, etc.
Lots of alcohol is really bad for your liver and other health issues!

If you need to let out some aggression more-so than just relax, go to a batting cage or driving range. Best.Medicine.EVER!

Even after the shittiest day at work, I come home and take a nice long shower, and that helps a lot.

My favorite? Kickboxing. Working out while throwing punches – perfect for me!

Go shopping? A walk around the neighborhood and then a long shower or bath followed by a little reading with a cup of really good tea tennds to soothe me.

I know lots of alcohol is bad for my liver, and I’m nowhere near that stage… It’s just gone from weekend social drinking to glass of wine every eve with / after dinner.
Only another week and at least work will be one less thing to stress about (for the time being).
Thanks for the tips. Def going to make myself go for a run tomorrow morn! Putting out gym stuff now so I don’t ‘forget’.

@pink_sherbert: i go to the beach all by my self late in the daY and just sit with my eyes closed and think about nothing but the waves and my heart beat.
ill light candles and listen to classical music when no one is home.
or walk around a store i enjoy and just relax or the flea market all by my self.
everyone needs alone time if i dont have it ill go crazy lol

Wine. 🙂 Love that your first option on the poll was alcohol, lol.
After the wine – workout with Fiance, watch movies, cook a meal. We also like to putter around in our garden if the weather is nice.
Honestly, as soon as I see his beautiful face every evening and get a big hug and kiss from him – I’m immediately unwound. 😉
