This may be obvious, but I’m the girl that is really clueless at handicrafts and got a C in art.
I’ve decided to make my own program baskets, and I want to wrap a ribbon around the basket. So it would look something like the below…how do I attach the ribbon to the basket? Super glue? Or just tie? someone help =)

i would probably used double-sided tape. i’m amazing how strong it is. sometimes glue can be too messy.

I totally agree with the double sided tape, that stuff works great for me.

I use hot glue for stuff like this, but with ribbon you have to only put the glue in the corners because it shows through the ribbon super easily (bumpy) so it would have to be hidden. But it’s a good alternative if the tape doesn’t work! You can also buy this double sided tape from the dollar stores (in Canada anyway, so probably elsewhere) where it is in a thing similar to that roll on white out tape you can get.. You roll it on the same way and I swear by it for everything, it’s super strong.

I use hot glue for things like this too.

Thanks everyone for your responses…I was really clueless and this was so helpful.
I ended up using glue dots to stick the ribbons together and double sided tape to glue it to the basket. Here are the results! I have mini photo frames I’m going to put by the baskets to label what they are for =)
