OK, so, we’re going for our menu tasting next month so need to decide on what to try; so it’d be great to get some feedback! We’re offering 2 options for our starter and dessert, and 4 for our main. We have one coeliac coming (hence gluten-free options across all courses) and 4 vegetarians/pescatarians. Let me know what you think! (NB: fillet steak/similar is probably not an option due to a per head supplement of $11.50)
Melon with parma ham
Cheese and onion tart with side salad
Pan-seared salmon fillet with spring onion and herb crushed potatoes and white wine veloute
Hereford Angus sirloin steak with wilted spinach and sauted potatoes
Coq au vin with mashed potatoes and spinach OR pot roast breast of corn-fed chicken with mushroom, leek and pancetta risotto and chicken veloute (undecided between the two; planning on trying both)
Spinach, ricotta and wild mushroom lasagne
Apple tart-tatin with vanilla ice-cream and apple crisp
Exotic fruit salad

Sounds yummy to me! But I’ve never heard of pot roast chicken. But maybe it’ll be awesome!

Sounds yummy! If you need a fellow taster, I’d be happy to volunteer my services. =)

Sounds good, although I don’t like either of the starter options. But that’s no big deal because I could fill up on dessert…lol.

@barbie86: I feel like you could probably do a better gluten free desert than the fruit salad but generally it sounds fantastic!
I’ve seen an amazing chocolate ganache tart on a pecan crust that’s G-free and it’s delicious (Milestones has one on their menu)

Amazing menu!!! Great choices all around. LOVE the starters. Love the main courses (well, I don’t love vegetarian lasagna but I like it!). For dessert, I’d probably choose something with chocolate in it and keep one fruity choice, but that’s just me, chocolate addict and all. 🙂

Sounds delicious – and no upgrades needed. I’d be impressed, but maybe I’m easy 😉
