@yassim: Hmm talk to your Maid/Matron of Honor and bridesmaids?  Maybe one of them will be willing to carry your essentials for you!

@yassim: I’m going to keep it in the car. I doubt I’ll be concerned about touching anything up.

I agree with Pengoala.  I’m going to ask my Maid/Matron of Honor or my mom to carry my stuff.  I definitely do not want to worry about any of it!!!

I’m going to leave it in the car, but put someone else in charge of it.

All I want to carry around that day is my bouquet!

I got myself a little clutch, and a similar one for my Maid/Matron of Honor.  My sister (not in the wedding party) is going to keep track of them for us during the ceremony.

@yassim: Do you need thes things during the reception? I kept my stuff in the dressing room of the venue.

I had a day of emergency kit in the room I got ready in… If I needed anything, which I didn’t, it was there.

My dress had pockets so I was able to carry tissue and my lip gloss with me… I only used the tissue. lol

Day goes by pretty fast so unless you’re looking at having ample time for pics or time in between I doubt you’ll be thinking about touch ups. lol

Infact… my phone is generally GLUED to my hand and I went MOST of the day not even knowing where it was… or thinking about it. lol

If you really want though I’ve seen awesome bridal clutches on etsy.. could snag yourself one of those =)

During the ceremony, I left my purse in the limo. At the reception, it was locked away in the bridal suite. I honestly didn’t miss it, because I was too busy being torn in 12 different directions to worry about refreshing my lip gloss or botting my forehead.  i only saw it again 3 days later when we were getting ready for our honeymoon and I needed my driver’s license (why on earth I thought I’d need it on my wedding day, I don’t know!).  One of the bridesmaids had my purse at her house.

I’m having a friend come along who is very organized and almost would have been a bridesmaid; she will carry a purse if I end up having one, or at least an emergency bag for everyone.

I am going to buy a clutch to put some things in (I have diabetes, and need supplies with me), but I am not planning on carrying it around. I’ll probably have it match with my bridesmaids dresses since they’ll be the ones keeping an eye on it.

I agree with most of the previous posters – I bought a nice new clutch for my wedding day. Spent time picking out the perfect color to match my shoes, etc… and it stayed hidden away under the table the whole night. I did not even open it or touch it once. haha. My Maid/Matron of Honor carried extra tissues and blotting papers in her purse that I used for touch-ups right after the ceremony since it was starting to rain. Even though I brought lipgloss, etc I did not need to touch that up at all. Yes – it all goes by soooo fast.

I think I’m just going to leave everything in the bride’s room. If I really need something, then I’ll just walk upstairs and get it… or have somebody walk upstairs and get it. I don’t want to worry about carrying stuff around on my wedding day 🙂

Our church has a bride’s room, so everything will be in there. I plan on making a purse from my mom’s wedding dress (something old) and then I also have a tote bag from LLBean I got a while ago that I will be using for all my extra stuff. I’m a bag girl and this will be good. I say just get a totebag and carry everything in there.
