I saw a similar line. How could you skip a day with your family and loved one’s to sit outside of a store. It’s fucking insane and disgusting.

@SleepingWithNuns: it makes me feel that that lady with the 8 chair needs to get with the times. Dale Jr. hasn’t been the #8 since 2004.

Also, I wonder how they pee?

I do find it a bit ridiculous though, I’ll be eating delicious food or sleeping in in my warm bed while they sit on a cold sidewalk. It makes me feel smarter than the masses.

I chose this picture, found it on Google. It makes me sad.
I feel like everybody is so busy that sometimes I wonder if this
is how I would like to live my life, always on my way somewhere.
I would like to find some mre time together with the ones I love.
Oh. Went a bit sentimental now..

It makes me think that people should get a life. How much are they really saving to make it worth sitting their sorry asses out in the cold?

It makes me sad. Holidays are meant to be spent with love ones and just because you don’t care about spending time with your family and want to shop doesn’t give you the right to take people away from their love ones just so they can help you shop/check you out. People who work on Black Friday and other holidays don’t really have a choice to work on that day or not without consequences.

Its ridiculous. Makes them look like idiots. Some of us value family & friends more than a flat screen.

I just don’t understand. I have never felt tempted to stand in line that way for anything.

Stuff like this makes me scared for our future as a people, I mean seriously no one thinks about the poor people we have to show up at midnight to work all night after thanksgiving just because (insert cheesy retail chain here) wants to cash in on the rush of holiday commercialism. People are bastards…and no I don’t work retail but I used to and I know people who do and its just not fair to them or their families.

I dont think its so bad.  And anyways, you dont know the story behind why they arent with loved ones as you choose to be.  Maybe they just cant afford to fly home for Thanksgiving and perfer to go home for longer break during Xmas and are therefore free and choose to have some fun with friends doing a crazy black friday stunt so that they have a fun story to tell when they do go home.  Some people just do it for the fun of it and not even for the deal.  My brother has gone out a bunch of friends after Tday dinner to just go hang out and not even to buy stuff.

There have been people lined up since Monday morning at 2 of the Best Buys near me. It’s insane. Saving a few hundred $$ is so not worth it to me.

Is this for Black friday? I’m Canadian and we don’t have anything like this shopping day here, it seems so bizarra!
