I’m a recently engaged Bee and I’ve been wondering what kind of a stone my ring is 🙂 More experienced Bees, tell me what do you think about it. It’s not really a matter for me, I’m just curious what would you think if you saw it. One thing that i know it’s 2 ct stone.

I kind of looks like moissanite in the second picture but in other two it looks more like cz. I do not think it’s a diamond but whatever it is it sure is beautiful!

You could take it to a jeweler and they could test it for you.

MissKota1419: CZ. It looks too flat to be a diamond or a moissy from the photos.

TheLadyA : I agree, it’s pretty flat. I’d guess CZ or white topaz.

MissKota1419: I have no idea but it’s beautiful! I will say it looks a lot whiter than I’d expect of a diamond or moissanite.

I would go with moissanite or CZ but it doesn’t look like a diamond to me.

MissKota1419: I don’t know enough about moissanite to weigh in on it being that or CZ, but it’s def not a diamond.

Will it make a difference to know that it’s not a diamond? If yes, then I wouldn’t find out.

To me it looks like a CZ or White Topaz. Diamond testers are cheap on Amazon. I love mine!

CZ, white topaz or white sapphire.

I think it looks like a CZ, but who really can tell from an internet pic? Why don’t you ask your Fiance what it is or have it tested at a jewelers? If it is a 2ct diamond (or even moissy) you’ll want to get it insured and for that you need an appraisal.

MissKota1419: You can’t just ask your Fiance what the stone is? Didn’t you two pick it together?

MissKota1419: Does it matter what it is though?
