(Closed) how does this sound for the "send off"

This is EXACTLY what we did. My husband didn’t want to dismiss by row as he imagined a bunch of forced and awkward hugs from relatives or +1s he doesn’t know well 🙂 With a receiving line +1s and such can pass right by or not feel forced to hug. The pastor didn’t announce anything, guests just understood that as family seated in the front rows exited, they should too.

We stood with our parents and the line moved in the direction of the door where we would make our grand exit from. Our bridal party waited right outside the door and passed out ribbon wands to each guest. Once the receiving line ended we quickly signed our marriage certificate and then exited to a sea full of waving ribbons! It went off seamlessly.
