I’ve heard that when you get married, your husband’s credit score affects yours. Is this true? My Fiance doesn’t have the best credit. Is there a way we can keep our own scores? Does anyone know how this works?

The only way it affects you is if the two of you apply for a loan together. Then they will use the lowest score to determine your rate. Your husband should work on repairing his credit.

Yep MissAsB is right. As long as your not looking to apply for any large loans anytime quick it really won’t effect you because you will be able to do it in just your name.
