My goal is to send at ten, but I will probably end up sending at eight, unfortunately.

we are doing 9 weeks, because we are driving to bridal veil to have them hand canceled and that is the weekend we were free.

We’re hoping to send them 3 months ahead – we’re having quite a short engagement and no formal save-the-dates.  Plus lots of people (pretty much everyone) will have to travel to my hometown.  So earlier seems better.Smile

I marked 3 but it will probably be more like 3.5 months ahead.  No save the dates.

I answered 10 weeks ahead. We are trying to wrangle an A and B list situation.

8 weeks ahead because I’m sending Save-The-Date Cards but still don’t trust people to respond in a timely fashion.

wow 3 months seems like a long time!  we sent out save the dates, and 75% of guests weren’t traveling so we sent them out 6 weeks ahead of time.

I’m doing 8 weeks and it may end up being more like 7 or 7.5.  About 90% of our guests are OOT but I sent save the dates in November.  I figured this would be plenty of time.  Plus our venue doesn’t need final numbers until 7 days before the wedding.  (I’ll probably do a rsvp date of april 23rd though for my may 15th wedding because we may have to call some people and I’ll need to do place cards too).

5.5 months out. We’re not sending STD’s, half our guest list lives overseas and the other half are theatre freelancers who we need to book in early otherwise they won’t be able to come!

My goal was 2.5 – 3 months (like Jan 1-ish for my March 20 wedding) but mistakes on the invites forced them to go out today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just posted about it:
