(Closed) How early can I send a wedding gift?

@philodendron:  I’m not sure what the common etiquette is on this one, but personally, I think that if you already have your eye on something you want to get your friend, I don’t see why you can’t do it now.  🙂

As soon as you want!

We got our first gift THE DAY our inivtations were received (4 months before hand… common over here) and we were SO shocked.

That guest will always be remembered as they obviously looked at our wedding website (the only place we put the registry) and were very generous.

We’ve already said thank you (and will again!) but it was such a lovely thing to happen so soon 🙂

@philodendron:  I would wait until you have the wedding invitation and then go nuts. But if you see it on sale you could buy it then and hold it until the invitation comes. I would be very confused to recieve a gift before someone was even invited.
