I would say it depends where you are trying to book it at. If the place is in high demand for other customers, I would say go ahead and book it. However, if you have other things to check off your to-do list, I would get those done first and then come back to that.

I booked mine 6-8 months in advance.  I can’t quite remember.  They book up really quickly in my area.

I think there’s no harm in booking this early if the salon knows the schedule of their artists.  My wedding is 9/1, and I booked mine about 2 weeks ago, so about 115 days out.

I booked mine a year in advance!! The salon advised me to do it ASAP. Especially if it’s a Saturday & you have a lot of girls.. and want them all done at the same time. I’d do it now, it’s not too early!

I booked mine about 6-7 months out and I got the last “spot” they had for weddings.

mine could only book 3 months out – so that’s when I did it … of course, everything fell apart a week before the wedding and they decided that they could only fit us in at 12 so I had to scramble to find a replacement.

I am in the process of booking mine right now and I am 140 days out.  I know people who book up to a year out.  When I went to my regular hair dresser a few months ago she said that she was almost completely booked for October.

I am getting married in June of next year and already have someone booked because she came recommended to me. So, I would say, it’s not too early once you know what you want.

I was married in November. Make up artists (especially the less expensive ones) book fast in my area. So I booked my make up artist in May. I booked my hair in August

My wedding is in March 2013, but I’ve already booked my make-up and hair person for me and my bms,. It’s a little more competitive in Calfiornia because all the good make up artists get snatched up really quick. Luckily for me, she’s coming to my house to do our make up and hair.

I say, if you know who you want, why wait?

Booked mine 8 months in advance.. good thing I did! because even when I was doing some research some of the places I came across were already booked.  But I guess that’s what you get for living in a big city
