I’m 17w4d and have not felt the baby move. My placenta is anterior, so it will take a bit longer for me to feel the baby. My BFF is about 15 weeks and she just started to feel some movement. Your baby is still only 1 inch long, so I don’t know that you could really feel that. It could be your uterus expanding, ligaments stretching, etc.

I hate to disappoint, but the chances of being able to feel your baby move at 10 weeks are slim to none. Too small still. It was likely gas bubble, or your uterus expanding, or ligaments stretching. I know some second+ time moms can feel their babies move earlier because they know what they’re feeling, but even that isn’t usually until 16 weeks. I started feeling small movements about 18 weeks (it felt like…a tap from the inside) and definite kicks around 20 or so weeks.

Don’t worry, though, pretty soon you’ll be wishing the baby WOULDN’T kick at you quite as much, especially when it’s in your rib cage!
