mrsc416:  first baby, 4 weeks. We made major nursery purchases at 7 weeks and miscarried at 9. Let me tell you, looking at a crib in the nursery for the next few months was hard.

For the third pregnancy (2nd was another mc), it was 22+ weeks. I waited until viability and then had a “shit, I have nothing ready moment”

I say get the outfit. Just wait on items that you can’t easily stow away

I guess technically I bought an outfit the day after I found out. But that was because I used the outfit to tell hubby. I didn’t buy anything else/outfits until after 12 weeks, and most I didn’t buy until we found out the gender at 20 weeks. I think it’s personal preference though, and you should do what you’re comfortable with. Contrats 🙂

mrsc416:  This is our first and I bought about 5 gender neutral outfits until we found out it was a girl🎀 at 18 wks 6 days. We have 2 rods in her closet and 1 is half full since finding out. Plus we have a dresser that’s empty with 5 big drawers. We also got a diaper bag, bibs, a blanket, and milestone stickers. I’m so excited and can’t help it, but buy things. Especially clothes because I love clothes.

I waited until I knew the gender, which due to having a shy flower of a fetus, I didn’t find out for a very long time. Just last week – at 28 weeks! I told my OB/GYN that if she couldn’t get the baby to cooperate at that ultrasound, I was just going to start buying mint green and yellow everything, haha!

I was cautious, so I didn’t get anything for the baby until I was 24 weeks along– but really after 30 weeks we got the important things– bed, stroller, etc.

I started buying stuff in my second trimester after I knew what gender my babies were.

Almost 20 weeks and we’ve bought a crib because it was on sale. That’s it, so far. We’ve decided on a travel system, but might wait to see if it goes on sale before we need it in November.

I’m not even pregnant but i sew blankets for all my friends when they have a baby. I was at the store buying fabric for another blanket and i saw a fabric i couldn’t pass up. I bought it for the possible daughter i may have one day… We’re trying in October. I have it hidden so my husband doesn’t think i’m a nut job haha

KKML125:  Oh exciting! We aren’t very far along but we plan to be team GREEN as well. If you don’t mind me asking what color scheme did you guys decide on? Also do you have a inkling of what you think it may be?
