I booked mine 6.5 months out, I was her third and final wedding for my date. Depending on how popular your florist is you may need to book about 6 months out.

Even though your requirements are simple, I would do it as soon as you can (with out stressing about it). Many florists will do only so many weddings in a weekend and if they are booked up they may not do yours.  However, because its simple they may “squeeze” you in.

I think its better to have peace of mind to go ahead and book someone, but I wouldnt stress about doing it yesterday.

    Hi date twin!

I booked my florist this fall. I had my choice of everyone and I went and talked with 4 different people. I thought flowers were flowers, and that it wouldn’t really matter…but there were definitely two standouts that I just LIKED a whole lot more and seemed more willing to work within a budget. They will also give you estimates, and it’s better to know what it’ll cost ahead of time. So I say start reading reviews and browsing websites, and set up consultations soon–or maybe in January, after the holidays–but make sure they have your date on their radars.

I booked mine 3.5 weeks out.  (Which worked fine, but I don’t recommend leaving it that long… I was afraid they were going to laugh at me… Tongue out )  My friend who is getting married in April in Central CT just had her first meeting with her florist last week.
