  • poll: When would you have a gender reveal party?

As soon as I find out! (15-17 weeks.)

    18-20 weeks (after anatomy scan)

20+ weeks (when I'm good and huge!

    I wouldn't have a gender reveal party. They're stupid!

If you choose ^^ this option above, get off my poll!! :op I don't want your opinion anyway! lol.

@MrsDiddles I would have it in the 18-20 wk range.  I don’t think gender reveals are attention grabby at all.  In fact, I’m not planning on having one bc I don’t feel like planning it, but I have family members who are asking me to have one bc they think it is fun.  I think if you have people that are happy and excited for you, then I think they can be a lot of fun.  I would be careful bc a lot of people just aren’t as excited about babies.

@Mischka:  I agree with your POV 100%. I wouldn’t have one, but I’m awkward with attention and am uncomfortable with even a shower, but I would love to go to one. To me, it is a great reason to see people I love, have a great meal and celebrate life.

@MrsDiddles:  To respond to the poll, if I can hold it in long enough, I would wait until about 20 weeks, so you are showing a little tummy and not looking weird in maternity cloths. But, if you can’t wait, have the party as soon as you know! Happy Gender Reveal!

I can’t wait until people start having POAS parties.  You know it’s coming.
