@EffieTrinket:  I think you’re fine!  As a makeup artist, I’ve had people book me out 6 months before their wedding!  I think you’re good at 3 months!  I’m actually getting ready to schedule my own hair/makeup trial next month! 🙂

P.S. If you’re nervous they won’t remember what they did…I always make notes of what color/styles of makeup they liked or what we did..so the day of the wedding isn’t starting from scratch..I already have everything ready and know what I’m doing!  Plus, I take pictures to attach to my notes too 🙂

@EffieTrinket:  I think you’ll be fine to do it now.  My wedding is at the end of March and I’ll likely have to schedule mine sometime soon as well.  There’s so much stuff going on now that its really going to come down to when I have time.  Its hard when you have dress fittings, showers, bachelorettes and what not coming up, plus you’re daily life.  Good luck!

I did a hair and makeup trial 8 months in advance!

As you said, you might have to find another stylist, if you don’t like your trial. I’d do it on the 11th.

I’m doing it 3 days before the wedding!  it’s too soon but I’m an out of town bride so i dont have a choice.  I would say anything more than 2 months is a lot since you might forget, etc.
