I think that once you find “the dress” you can get it…. BUT you HAVE TO STOP looking for dresses…

because really, it doesn’t matter HOW long you wait, if you keep looking for dresses you’re bound to find something else you think you’ll love. lol

I found my dress almost a yr ago and went ahead and ordered it. Yes I’ve seen other dresses on wonderful sites like this BUT in my mind/heart I am no longer looking & I still love my dress =)

@runsyellowlites: Oooh, you said it really well (also, I feel like everytime I post you’ve just posted. Sorry for bee-stalking you, i promise I don’t mean to!).

OP: I bought my dress in early August, and it’s going to take eight months (from August) to arrive. Sometimes designers take a crazy long time to get stuff in, so better earlier than later!

I agree with above post. you cant go looking after you purchase it. I say hold off on buying it and continue to shop around the dress will be there if you want it.

I wouldnt buy more than 9 months ahead. Because even if you intend to stop looking,  you will still come on weddingbee or read wedding mags and make see something that you love more.

I bought my dress a little less than a year before my wedding date. I still love it and can’t wait to wear it on my big day!

I bought mine almost 22 months before the wedding. I have over a year to go, but I adore the dress. And sincerly believe no matter what I find, I like mine best.
