I’m getting married in July as well and haven’t gone in for a fitting yet… also in hopes of getting in a little better shape before then.  I’m curious about people’s answers, too.

First question: how many alterations appointments do you have?

I’d have a chat with the salon/wherever you’re having your alterations done.  My first alterations appt. is June 1st (July 21st wedding).  They told me it should be finished by the end of June (but I only need a hem on my all lace dress, and a bustle).

I’m curious about this as well…I hope to continue to lose weight up until the last possible dress appointment….my wedding is in September so I’m thinking that I’ll go into the shop in July and have the major stuff by the end of the month and then just have some minor things to do from that point out….we’ll see…

Curious about this as well. I’ve lost about 22 pounds since I bought my dress and plan on loosing at least 5-10 more. My wedding is end of July. It’s an all lace dress that will need to be taken in at the sides, hemmed, and a bustle added (or the train cut off, I can’t decide).

I’ve heard 3 months but I think it all depends on what you need done.
