(Closed) how easy is it to remove tulle/alter this dress?

very easy! you just cut out some of the layers.

It’s soooo easy, and something you could totally do yourself!

And, when I got my dress preserved, the woman recommended that you remove it all because it actually can harm your dress in the long-term.

I think it looks great as it is (even if it is too big!), but everyone has their own opinion and comfort levels when they see themselves in a dress.

The tulle is really easy to remove (they basically just cut it out) or may remove it if in layers at the seams (but still a simple process). If you end up not liking it once its gone, you can always buy a crinoline to give it some of the fullness back.

if you remove the tulle, you might want to take it in a little where you took some of the tulle out. the best person to ask is your seamstress! don’t try to do this yourself.

if you take the tulle out and absolutely hate it, you can add a crinoline or your seamstress can sew a crinoline back in.

@cherrycoke: It wouldn’t make the dress tighter around your hips, so if you want it tighter you’ll probably have to get that altered.
