I’ve been overweight most of my life so I’ve had stretch marks come and go as I lose or gain weight. I’ve noticed that the ones that I had on my stomach are starting to come back. I’m only 13 weeks and I’ve lost 15 pounds since being pregnant…. so this is going to be interesting.

I used Bio Oil religiously and thought I was in the clear when I noticed some faint ones on the underside of my belly at 33 weeks… was totally bummed, but oh well. I still have four weeks to go. Hoping I don’t end up with more than I already have.

I’m 30 weeks and haven’t got any yet. I haven’t done anything special, just moisturised daily with Mama Bee or some other lotions.

My SO’s sister get them at 39 weeks. She attributes their sudden appearance to running across a 4 lane street while not wearing a belly band. She hadn’t gotten any, ran across the street, and there they were the next day. She was shocked that they had appeared overnight. It could have been a coincidence, but I don’t recommend running or jostling your belly up and down, and maybe those belly bands work. SO’s sister wore them from about 5 months on, except for a few times, including the time she ran across the street.

I’m 28 weeks at the moment. I had a small (maybe 1″ long) stretch mark on my lower abdomen from puberty that had completely faded to be barely noticeable. In the last few weeks I’ve noticed it’s gotten red on either end (as though it’s stretching more), but that’s the only thing I have so far. Still 12(+) weeks to go though…..
ETA: I use Bio Oil and cocoa butter every day. I don’t actually think they’ll do anything, as studies show if you’re going to get stretch marks you’re going to get stretch marks, regardless of any preventative measures you take. But it makes me feel like I’m at least doing something 🙂

I have to admit I feel I am in good company with nearly 40% of us sporting stretch marks and never been pregnant. I first developed them in my hips & boobs at puberty. With weight fluctuations I have developed more over the years. They are difficult to see, only in certain light. I have always wondered if I got pregnant if I would get a lot or “restretch” old ones. My mom and I have very similar body type and she doesn have a ton and pretty invisible too.

I didn’t have a single one until the very end. At 37 weeks, the nurse even commented that she had never seen a belly so big (I was HUGE!) without any stretch marks. But then suddenly, within a week, I had dozens around my belly button. My little guy is 4 months now and I’ve lost all the baby weight but my belly is still a mess. The dermatologist just gave me Retin A to try but I have a feeling these are sticking around forever:(

I am covered in stretch marks!! Boobs, tummy, hips, thighs, butt, to the back of my knees. I had none until 8.5 months arrived and I looked in the mirror and noticed the lines on the bottom of my stomack. I also was super tiny and gained 50 pounds while PG. My mom had them, my grandma had them, my sister does not(witch!!). They are heriditary and will show up no matter what.

I had no growing up. I had none all during pregnancy and then the last two weeks I saw some under my belly and on my sides. The good news is they have mostly faded. It bothered me for several months but once my stomach flattened out I didn’t care as much.
inused vitamin E and every other cream. I figure after our last bsillily try to have them laser removed..
ETA: I was very small then my belly got massive. I gained about 30 lbs
