Yeah, mine started around 24 weeks…lasted until about 6 weeks post partum.  I feel for you.  It’s so uncomfortable!

Mine started around 20 weeks but only when I’m not moving around enough (sitting too long) or if I’m doing a ton of walking. It doesn’t happen every day but if I’m in the car for a long time or when I took a plane trip, it gets fairly uncomfortable.

I’ve found that when I know I’m doing something that may cause swelling, compression socks help. Also, I’ll do the legs up the wall yoga pose for a few minutes when I can. That helps too.

I’m 30 weeks now and most of the time my swelling is pretty well managed. I hope yours settles down!

Im 35 weeks and feel like I’m swollen all over, just a big ol’ humpback whale at this point lol. Bought some boots a few sizes up so that’s been a life saver 😊 but overall it doesn’t bother me BC I know this too shall pass.

I think last time it was christmas time so around 36 weeks it really kicked in, but I don’t really remember.

I am 26 weeks with #2 and so far no swelling, but there is still time for that to arrive.

I had my first ankle swelling episode at around the 30 week mark after a long walk. Straight up cankles! But the swelling was gone the next morning.

Unfortunately, it came back with a vengeance around 35 weeks and has not subsided. I’m now 37 weeks and basically don’t have ankles…it’s just a slab of flesh from leg to foot. Only shoes that fit are my running shoes with the loosest knot possible and my fake Target uggs. My hands are also swollen up with fat sausage fingers. Haven’t been able to wear my wedding rings since around 28 weeks. It’s a sexy time for sure.

I never had any swelling in my ankles or elsewhere. I wore my rings my entire pregnancy.

Reign14 :  I didn’t swell at all during my pregnancy, including the last two weeks when we had a heat wave. I was so smug about it, and then it came back to bite me in the ass, lol- I had the worst postpartum swelling! Even the doctor was like “yikes…”

My ankles will swell on occasion if I don’t move a lot. If I’m at my desk and I’m sitting for 8 hours straight my ankles will swell and I’m 16 weeks pregnant

I had a period of swelling early on, somewhere around 20 weeks. It subsided for a bit and didn’t show up again until more recently, probably the 28-ish week mark, and really only gets bad if I’m on my feet for too long.

I have three kiddos and I only ever experienced notable and consistent ankle swelling with my only summer baby, my 3rd.  My ankles swelled pretty badly during the last two months of my pregnancy.

I’m 37+ weeks now, and I’ve had two very minor instances of swelling in the last few weeks, so I’m not sure this even counts.  With my first pregnancy I had some swelling at 24 weeks when I was on heels all afternoon for an event.
