We’ve had our boy name for five years… but our baby-to-be is a little girl. We’ll have a name before I deliver. πŸ™‚

We were team green, we had our girl’s name picked out (well, narrowed to 2 names but not planning on picking the final until we saw baby) in the second trimester but they were both names that we had been throwing around since the first trimester.

Our boy’s name gave us a ton of trouble, we went to the hospital with our list “narrowed” to about 6 options. We had a boy, and decided we didn’t like any of the options we had so we started from scratch sitting in our hospital room as our little family of 3. I had a c-section, so I delivered on friday night and we were discharged on monday just before lunch. We picked a name we liked on saturday night, we slept on it overnight and officially decided on sunday afternoon. I quickly filled out our paperwork and called family to announce his name before we changed our minds haha.

Had a girl name picked out the day we got our bfp. Found out boy at 20 weeks. Had a few names picked out at 30ish weeks. Didn’t decide until he was born on the first name. His middle name came 2 days after he was born.

I’ve had a girls name picked out for a long time, and Darling Husband likes it, so we’ll probably go with that.  For boys, we have a few we like, but we’re still mulling them over.  We’re Team Green and I think we’ll have favorites, but won’t definitely decide until we meet him/her.

We thought we had a name picked several months before the due date, but when she was born we decided to go with a totally different name.

We had a boy name picked out before we were pregnant. We found out we were having a girl and had a heck of a time agreeing on a name. I’m 37 weeks and we agreed ona girl name like 2 weeks ago. It’s not set in stone but I don’t see us finding another name we both agree on in the next few weeks πŸ™‚

For our first we had a boy name and girl name before conception.

This time it’s a bit harder. We had a boy name, but we’re having a girl. Right now our girl name list has about 10 names on it but haven’t found “the one”. I’m 27 weeks.

SO and I just found out we are expecting in March, but we had a boy and a girl name picked out back in May when we decided to start TTC this summer. We didn’t plan on picking names, we both just fell in love with the names while we were having a casual conversation about it.

We were Team Pink. We had it narrowed down to three first & middle name combos by late in my third trimester and we chose one of the three after she was born.

We had two names picked out but waited to see what she looked like first before naming her.

We had both a female name and a male name picked out, although we only had a male middle name since it was sort of a family name. Luckily, we’re having a boy so we still have time. πŸ™‚ It’s a totally “normal” American name spelled correctly. That said, we haven’t told anyone in our families and not most of our close friends because we don’t want comments or anyone to change our minds. We’ve told other people, e.g. coworkers, though.

We found out our baby’s sex right away (boy), but didn’t pick his name until a couple hours before I gave birth! We had a couple names we liked, but the name we chose was a brand new idea- never considered before.
