Names were decided and clothing was monogrammed immediately after finding out the sex for both kiddos, haha!

I always knew the name I wanted if I had a girl. When we found out it was a girl at 19 weeks, that did it, she had her name!  We didn’t tell anyone because we still wanted it to be a surprise for everyone else.

We were team green and had our boy first name picked before we even conceived. But his middle name was picked the night before I went into labor!

We had a girl name picked finalized probably around 30 weeks.

We picked our girl name years before even trying to conceive (we don’t have any daughters). We picked our boy name about 4 hours after our son was born. Lol. Pregnant now and not finding out the sex but it’ll be the same story this time.

They were going to kick me out of the hospital and kept harassing me to fill out the birth certificate info.  So the day we checked out from the hospital was when I decided (for sure). Probably should have decided a little earlier as I was annoyed they kept coming by asking about the birth certificate.

With my son, id had his name picked about 7 years before he was conceived πŸ˜‚ I always knew what a boys name would be if we had a boy. I’m currently pregnant with bubs 2 , don’t know the sex, but have no boys names and have a girls name locked in. So hopefully it’s a girl or this baby might be nameless πŸ˜‚ oh and hubs is on board with the name choices too, obviously πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŒπŸ»

We’re TTC our first right now, and we’ve already chosen our names. I’m really excited to see which one we get to use.

Mmm with my first child (son), my then fiancé was living in another country, we communicated by text and decided sometime near the end of pregnancy I think. With my daughter I found it harder to decide. We had a short-list of names, but when she was born and I saw her I knew what to call her (for the first name).  We then spent the next few hours deciding on middle names as ordered by my mum who said we needed to decide so they could announce it in the newspaper – even though all I wanted to do was sleep. But when my mum and grandma came to visit me some hours later they told me they weren’t happy with the name as they thought the abbreviation of the first name didn’t go with our surname. They then chose another name off our Shortlist!!!

First pregnancy here.

We had the girl’s name in mind even before we were ttc – once we found out it was a girl we knew it was going to be her name. I don’t know what we would have done had it been a boy cause we didn’t think of any boy names – we just always thought about that name.

We call her by her name and so far only my sister knows it (and approved it) but we haven’t told any other family members or friends.

My Mother-In-Law asked that we don’t give the baby a unisex same but the name we picked can be used for boys and girls (like Sam/Samantha) – we just smiled and nodded because there’s a name already and we’re not planning on changing it…

I’ll let you know! I’m currently 24 weeks, and we only have a middle name for sure! I do call her by tentative name, and so does my husband. I like the name, I don’t love it though. For the daughter we lost, I knew her name immediately. I had items monogrammed and everything! This time, no dice. Also, we will not be telling family. Telling them beforehand means judgement, and I’m not trying to hear it. I’d rather tell them the name once she’s here. That way, folks know they can keep their damn opinions in a sack!

I’m 37 weeks with my second now. With my first, I knew right away what I wanted to name him (and I knew he was a boy, my husband didn’t). With this one, we found out we are having another boy so we knocked it down to 2 names by midway, and as far as my husband’s concerned, we haven’t committed – haha! He is pretty much leaving it up to me and I’ve already decided on it – I usually stick with the first name that I connect with πŸ™‚

We had names way before we had a kid.  Around the time I was pregnant with my first I fell out of love with my girl name because it got too popular (Lillian, Lilly for short).  I had a boy so we used the boy name.  Now I’m pregnant with a girl and we were liking the name Abigail before I was pregnant but then I decided Addison about 5 weeks after we found out the sex of the baby.  It took a while to get my husband completely on board.  Now we are like 98% sure she is going to be Addison and we call her that.

MrsBG :  wow!! I can’t believe we are both so close! It’s amazing isn’t it? Not sure about you but I feel like this pregnancy has gone exponentially faster than the first one!

I love Addison btw πŸ™‚
