We have a one month old right now and we finalized her name at about 7 months. We had discussed a few name options after we found out we were having a girl, but ended up going with DH’s choice later on. However, we didn’t tell anyone until 8 months along.

With my first, we were pretty indecisive, and I was afraid that I would change my mind before he was born. So we went into the induction with 3 names. After he was born, I thought one of them would stand out, but it didn’t. And I was SO exhausted (5 hour of pushing!), that I really didn’t care at that point. We quickly picked one of the 3.
For this pregnancy, I’m hoping to decide a littler earlier. I’m not in any rush, but I definitely won’t be putting it off until birth this time!

I just found out I’m pregnant but I decided my baby’s name years ago. I’m more set on the girl’s name than the boy’s name though.

des- : congrats! Its so exciting to think of a name for your baby girl.
Well, hubs and I decided on my boy’s name during the 2nd trimester.
In the beginning hubs and I agreed I’d choose the Chinese name, while he’d choose the English name. But in the end he veto’d my ideas out of the window. So much for democracy.

des- : it was kinda funny, after we got married and we decided to start ttc we both loved similar names and we picked the final names. My husband and I both have 8 letter names so we wanted to keep the same idea going I am very early in my pregnancy (4wks and 3days) and the names are even more exciting for us now
Girl – EmmaLynn Marie and Boy – Dominick Jaxson.
