I never felt the flutters, but I started to feel kicks and bumps just after 20 weeks. I also have an AP so that may be why I didn’t feel anything until later.

@anotherbee:  OMG, this exact thing happened to me last night while I was half asleep – I am only 13 weeks so I assumed it must just be gas, but it would be exciting to think it was actually the LO =)

@Mrs.D:  stupid question, but I am just as far along as you are – how do you know it’s the baby?  (see above – I felt something “flutter-like” last night but was assuming it was gas because everyone I know says it’s more like 16 weeks before you’re likely to feel anything).  I am guessing that since I have to ask, it hasn’t happened to me yet…I can’t wait!

I started feeling what I thought was movements at 16 weeks, at 17 weeks I felt my first outside kick and thats when I knew it was movements I’d been feeling. At 19w5d I feel the baby kick all the time now.

I didn’t really feel movement until about 20 weeks. I may have felt a few gentle twinges earlier than that, but I assumed it was gas!

I started to feel a nonconsistant flutter in the evenings right around 15 weeks. Such a cool feeling!
