IzzyBear: Thats good to know! Im meeting with a new doctor next month so hopefully he gives me guidance. I have lynch syndrome so time isnt on my side if my PCOS decides to make things diffiult.
ana2017: Congrats on losing weight! Im hoping I have a similar experience and that my body adjusts easily. I hate the BC side effects!

I’m going to stop same month we will try, but my IUD is non-hormonal, so I won’t need to worry about regulating my cycle after or anything.

I stopped taking my BCPs the day before our wedding. We started trying right away and it took us about 2.5 months to get pregnant.

Excited To Bee: I stopped december last year and we started TTC in March. I have had irregular periods since and its been a bit frustrating. I would definately suggest going off as soon as you feel comforatble to give your body plenty of time to regulate and get to know your cycle. I wish i would have gone off way earlier now.

I stopped 6 months before our wedding. I had been on the pill for 18 years and at the age of 36 I wanted to see what was going on. We used condoms then after the wedding conceived in our 2nd cycle. I was lucky to regulate straight away to a 28 day “textbook” cycle!

My wedding is in July. I got off the implanon last month, April. I’ve always had normal cycles. I got a positive ovulation test this month, so it seems like everything is normal.
