Well Fiance ordered it in in a 5.5, although I’m actually a 4.5. We didn’t know it at the time, so he ordered it in what he thought was my size. He did have to order it in store, though, since none of the rings at Kay could be ordered in a 4.5 online.

down almost a size, but it was over a year after he proposed, it just got to a point where I thought it was going to fall off everytime I washed my hands so I knew I had to take it in to be resized!

I have a shared prong half eternity band that went from a 7 down to a 3.5 and it’s perfectly tight my prongs are better than they originally were because I specified to re-tip and shape all the prongs to avoid stones coming loose

Mine originally came in a size 7, which was sized down to a 5, since Fiance thought that was my size. Was way too big, so sized again down to a 4!

I knew that grandma had bigger hands than me so I would prob have to size the ring.  It was a 6.5 and my finger is a 4.5 but I actually only had it sized down to a 5 because even though a 4.5 was the “correct size” I wanted to give some allowance for potential weight gain (like if I got pregnant), montly bloating, etc,  and also it was kinda hard to get the ring sizer thingamagic over my knuckle at the 4.5 size I didn’t it to be uncomfortable.  I am currently losing weight and the ring feels more loose but its not slipping off.  Sometimes I wonder if I should have gone down the half size but I could always re-size it down if I had to or wear a spacer thing.

@Mrs Christopher:  You can go down a quarter size too!!! Your not restricted to hole and half sizes like shoes 😉

I just dropped off my ring to get it sized yesterday. It was originally a 7, I have to get it taken down to a 5.5

Mine was a 6 and had to get is sized down to a 4.5.  The ring was actually not able to be sized down more than 1 size.  I had to have a new ring specially made from the manufacturer and return my original ring.  It was quite the process!

@Diamond88:  Damn if I had known that I would have done it at 4.75, oh well though if I lose the weight and keep it off and it affects my ring size a lot then I will go down again.  I’m hoping it wont.  My ring size changed drastically when I was young and lost weight and didnt really change again…
