I picked mine out at my old job in a mall about 30 minutes away I never even looked in other stores …. I basically told him I fell in love with a solitaire and then the store ended up closing so I couldn’t leave it behind >.< so he agreed to get it ahead of scheduel  and now I’m playing the waiting game. ….. 7 months later …. -_- haha but I’ve already started my planning

We had to travel to downtown so I would say about 45 minutes – 1 hour. We got the ring custom made and the jeweler is based out of a building in downtown Miami called the Seabold building.

We drove about 45 minutes to get my set. We found it at a family owned estate jewelry store in San Francisco.

He got mine in the next town.

But I physically had to travel from New England to Florida before he gave it to me (surprise destination proposal) lol.

~1,400 miles to actually get it from the family jeweler.

~2,400 miles to get it on my finger when he proposed.

Well the store we bought it at is 5 minutes from our house but we had the ring shipped out of state to my parents to save on the tax. We traveled ~500 miles to get it! 🙂

Well he bought the ring at a store that’s about 20 minutes from our house.

I had no idea that when we went to Portugal I would end up getting a ring 😀

My husband lived about 10 minutes walk from the downtown jewlery district in boston when he got my ring, so about a mile.  =)
