I live over 650 miles from my hometown.  I grew up in northern Indiana and now live in Atlanta, Georgia.

Our house is probably only 15 minutes from where Darling Husband grew up though (and about 30 minutes from where his parents live now).

ETA: The farthest I’ve lived was about 2200 miles from home when I was living in California.  Unless you count the summer I spent in Singapore where I was literally the exact opposite side of the world.

I grew up right outside of Philly and lived there for 22 years.  Now I’m right outside of Seaside Heights.  I moved about 1.5 hours east of the state.

Right now I’m 3 hours away from my hometown (same state), I’ll be moving next summer and then I’ll 8 hours away and in a different state!

For most of my college years I was 1 hour away, except for the internship I did which was 18!

I live 1804 miles away from my hometown of Isabela, PR. I’ve only been in Cincinnati for a month and I love it here. We are buying a house soon, so it seems this is where my new home is going to be. Thankfully my parents are thinking of retiring somewhere in between Cincinati and NYC. I’ll have them close enough in a few years.

I grew up in South Eastern PA, moved to Virginia for college, then moved back home. Then I moved to Orlando, and then I moved back home. After spending years traveling up and down the eastern seaboard, I finally settled about 45 minutes north of where I grew up.

I live about 1.5 hours away from where I grew up, but still in Alabama. There is very little cultural difference between where I am now and my hometown, and I wouldn’t call either one paradise. Darling Husband and I hope to move somewhere much different (which would require moving a large distance) after graduation. Our top pick would be moving overseas, so hopefully my poll choice will be changing drastically soon!

Oh, and I grew up on a farm a few miles from a small town.  I currently live in a small town, so the culture is very similar.  But when I move next year, I will be on the east side of Milwauekee!  Which I’m very excited for because I have loved being out there!

I live in a suburb of my hometown.  10 miles away from my childhood home, actually.

I live about 2.5 hours away from where I grew up.  We’re about 3 hours from my husband’s hometown.  Both of our families still live there, and we have zero desire to go back.  If anything, we’ll move farther away someday.

I am originally from New Orleans but now currently live in North Carolina. So I guess it would be the same region.
