I drove over an hour before to drive on dresses. Technically it is less than 50 miles, however due to traffic, it usually takes more than an hour.

I drove to a shop in Ohio (I live in Pittsburgh) just over an hour away to try on a dress I couldn’t find anywhere in Pittsburgh.  I ended up hating it, but it was totally worth it for me to drive out there – otherwise I would have always wondered!  I think it sounds like a fun girls road trip!

We traveled from Bethesda, MD (where we live) to Occoquan, VA (over an hour each way) to check out a bridal consignment store in Occoquan.  However, both of us found “the dress” there, so it was worth it!

Ha!  I haven’t made the trip yet, but I will be going to the exact same store in Fresno to try on the Alyne line!  But I am going to be out of town for the trunk show so I am going to have to wait a little while.   And I will be coming from the Bay Area.

I hope they are as good in person as they look online!

@lessthan3:  Looking at the Lindsay and maybe the Poppy… it will most likely be my first (and hopefully last) time in a bridal salon trying on dresses!

Definitely let me know!  I think it is a newer designer so it is hard to find much on them.

    Good luck!

I’ve driven one hour to a different city to try on dresses, and then thanks to my Fiance taking up so much time in World Market I wound up too late! We forgot stores closed early on Sundays D:
