@manda209:Ooo I’m wondering this too. I keep getting SUPER mixed responses. 12 months, 3 month, 4 month, 6 months….

We’re at 10 months and getting ready to send ours, but we’re a destination. I would take into account how many people are coming from out of town. If most are local, then you don’t need to send them as far in advance. Invites go out about 2 months ahead, so I would think that 5-6 months for a local wedding would be good, otherwise I think they might become kind of repetitive so close to the actual invite.

+1 To (best name evah  btw! lol~)

I too started getting mine Destination Wedding STD out about  months out.  Some were later due to the postal strike.

And ditto to the rest of her sentiments

My wedding is in June also and I’m about to send mine at the end of this month I hope.  Some people are already asking where they are…  And Brides magazine said 12 months ahead, which I obviously missed.
