(Closed) How far in advance should one book a florist?

They usually ask for a deposit, yes. 🙂

You’ve got plenty of time. My wedding is in 8 months and I plan to try to book a florist sometime within the next 3-4 weeks.

Do you have your venue yet? Usually a venue will provide you with a list of florists that are used to working in their space.

Getting the venue is also important because that way the florist will have a better idea of what kind/how much of decor you’ll be needing.

I think I booked mine about a year out. She is only doing wedding party decor – we are DIYing the rest.

Obviously you’re not limited to the ones on that list, but it’s usually a pretty good place to start.
